Cabo San Lucas Vacations

Cabo San Lucas can be found on the southern tip of the famous Baja Peninsula. Also called Land's End, Cabo has many wonderful features, including the Arch and the private gated community known as Pedregal. Nestled in the hills above the center of town and featuring some of the most luxurious Cabo villas, Pedregal is a playground for the rich and famous -- Baja's version of Hollywood.

Once a quiet fishing village, Cabo San Lucas is now one of the most in-demand tourist destinations in the world, with Cabo rental homes a popular choice for visitors. Cabo is now the number one tourist destination in all of Mexico. From weddings to bachelor parties, family vacations, relaxing weekend getaways or the perfect Cabo San Lucas golf vacation, there's something for everyone.

Beaches:

Pedregal Beach (Playa Pedregal) can be found within the private community of Pedregal and is one of the must-see spots in Cabo. The beach is on the Pacific side of land's end and is isolated from the public, making it the perfect place to get away. The strong current means it isn't safe for swimmers, but it's the perfect spot for picnics, excellent surf fishing, and peaceful walks on the beach.

The closest beach for swimming is Medano Beach (Playa El Médano.) It spreads through the main beachfront hotel area and offers a number of opportunities for different beach activities. On Cabo's main beach, El Médano, it's simple to rent whatever water toy you want to try, from simple sea kayaks to speedy wave runners. It's the perfect area for Cabo surf vacations. Stretching for two miles away from town, the sloped soft sand beach provides all the challenge the serious runner wants. Access to this beach is available at Km. 1 close to Club Cascadas de Baja, nearby the Costa Real Cabo Resort Beach Club harbor entrance, or via any of the restaurants and hotels located along the beach. Playa El Médano is two miles away from the Villa.

Lover's Beach is another must to visit during Cabo San Lucas vacations, but to get to this hidden cove you'll need some kind of floating transportation. We recommend that you hire a water taxi from the marina. This way, you can take an educational tour of the diving spots around El Arco, get a glimpse of Lover's Beach, then see an amazing view of the spectacular area where the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez meet.
